God Most High
It is “God most high”
that hears my cry.
He is the One
who knows my sighs.
It is “God most high”
that tends to my needs.
He is always listening
from His throne, He always sees.
It is “God most high”
that I place my trust.
My obedience to Him,
for me is a must.
It is “God most high”,
I surrender all to Him,
for I now understand
in Him, life truly begins!
I heard a knock on my heart,
Jesus said, “Are you there?
I wanted to let you know
the Father and I just heard your prayer.
We know what you are going through,
just wanted to let you know it will be all right.
Keep focusing on Us, as you go about your day,
and even throughout your night.
The answer you are looking for,
We will be sending by a friend.
Remember it may not be what you want to hear,
but is what you will really need to mend.
So you will hear many answers,
but look for the one that is so very true.
See the answer will come from the friend’s heart,
for like Me, he loves you too!”

The Pain
The pain is so great
I cried above,
my heart is broke,
how can I love?
You gave me love,
then it had to leave,
the pain increases,
as I begin to grieve.
I think of the happiness
that once was there,
but the pain overpowers,
sometimes more than I can bear.
Each day that comes
brings something new,
praise to You Lord Jesus,
for I will always have You!

His Blessings Flow
May His blessings flow
down on you.
May you understand
His love is true.
May He always hear
your every prayer.
May you always know
that He is there.
May He comfort you
when you’re in need.
May you understand,
how blessed you are indeed.
May you tell all the others
of Him, if they do not know,
so they can also see and feel
His blessings flow.

God’s Measuring Stick
God called me to His throne of Grace,
and said, “Let’s see if you measure up!”
An angel brought His measuring stick,
the Fruits of the Spirit marked bottom to top.
So as I stood next to His measuring stick,
I passed the love, joy and peace.
He smiled and then said, “Child of Mine,
these are so very important to Me.”
Next came long-suffering, then
kindness, goodness and faith.
I also passed each one of those,
God nodded His approval but then said, “Wait.”
I saw you were arguing with
a Brother and Sister from church.
You didn’t appear to be in control,
you appeared angry and very hurt.
With down cast eyes I said,
“Forgive me Father, for it is true,
the reason that it happened
was I took my eyes off of You!

Choose Or Lose
With each day that comes anew,
with it comes new challenges too.
Some are little but some are great,
those are the ones where your heart will break.
We try our best each day to get through,
but those heartbreakers are tough for me and you.
But in the Bible if you do read,
Jesus said, “Give them all to me!”
It is not just the great challenges that He does care,
but everything in our life He wants to share.
See, our heartaches, our joys, our tears and smiles,
He wants to be a part of them forever, not just awhile.
So it’s up to us as to what we choose,
without Christ in our lives, we surely will lose.
In happiness or in sorrow, what comes our way,
the praise goes to God, for loving us each day!

The Way Out
I was lost and confused,
I wandered about,
then I heard through His Word,
“I Am the Way out.”
From my eyes I couldn’t see
where I was to go,
He spoke to my heart,
“Let Me show you, I love you so!”
What seemed all dark,
from His Word became light,
He took all my wrongs,
and made me all right!
I said, “Lord, please tell me.
what for You can I do?”
He answered, “My Child,
tell others, for they need to know too!”

Share If You Care
Share if you care,
for this is what we must do,
we need each other
to help each one get through.
Don’t go on your own,
for there are many that care,
life is about looking,
for all the others to share.
God made us each for a reason,
that only He knows for true,
besides being special to Him,
we are special to each other too.
So lets give thanks to our Creator,
remember to reach out if you dare,
so many are waiting for you,
to share if you care!

Be Silent And Still
I trust in the Lord,
I obey His will,
but what I find hard,
is to be silent and still.
When a heart is broken,
or an answer we need,
to be silent and still
is very hard indeed.
When a body is aching
and relief we need,
God says, “Be silent and still,
then you will receive.”
See, the Lord knows all
that is just right for you.
So if He says, “Be silent and still”,
then that’s what we must do.

Why Do I Love Him?
Why do I love Him,
well, it’s plain to see,
even though it was 2000 years ago,
Jesus died on the cross for me.
Why did He do it?
Why did He suffer all that pain?
It was all because of love,
and I know He would do it again!
See, He knew me before I knew Him,
He claimed me for His own.
He wants me to spend eternity with Him,
together in His heavenly home.
All I had to do was choose
to accept His act of love.
I hope you choose as I did,
so we all can be together above.

Give To Him
Give to Him what is truly His,
your life, your love, your soul.
Give to Him for He gave of Himself,
for all of us, so many years ago.
Give to Him, what He should have,
yes, your life and love do give.
A life that was created with purpose,
to belong to only just Him.
Give freely of yourself,
for you are a Child of His.
Give to Him your total devotion
and praise as long as you shall live.
Your life was created for Him,
to love, worship and adore.
See, once you make the choice to give,
it’s His life, not yours anymore!

The Father of the Faithful
The Father of the faithful
had to slay His own Son,
to prove to all believers
His love from day one.
His will for the Son
is the same for you and me,
obey the Father’s will,
for that’s the way it must be.
Yes, for He is the Father of the Faithful,
He is the Father of Love,
He is the Father of Creation,
the Father of Heaven above.
From Jesus’ own lips,
the Father’s beloved Son,
in prayer to the Father said,
“Not My will, but Thy will be done!”

On My Knees
As problems come
and I know they will,
I’m on my knees,
praying still.
When nothing seems
to be going right,
I’m on my knees,
both day and night.
In this world
that’s filled with sin,
I’m on my knees,
talking with Him.
For it is on my knees,
where I belong,
in prayer, worship,
or praising the Father in song!

The Son-light
I walked out into darkness,
a cloudy day was in sight.
Every place I looked,
nothing seemed to be right.
No smiles on the faces,
as people passed me by,
adults were constantly arguing,
the kids just stood and cried.
Too many people in a hurry,
as time clicked off the clock.
Life was passing them by,
for they never took time to stop.
This day was so depressing,
I said, “Lord how can this be?”
He touched my heart and answered,
“What they are all missing is the Son-light, Me!”

The Mission
I was called by the Almighty,
for He had a mission for me.
He said, “I need for you to touch the hearts
of the many people that still can’t see.
I want you to share My love,
and reassure them My Word is true.
Tell them in whatever way you can,
in the best way that you can do.
Tell them through My poems,
show them through your love,
sing to them in hymns and songs,
that I am in control from above.
Tell them they don’t have to worry,
for with Me there is nothing to hide.
Tell them time is getting short,
the great I Am is waiting for them to decide!”

God’s Timing
God’s timing is so awesome,
though sometimes we just don’t see,
He is always working in our lives,
guiding us in what’s good for you and me.
It seems we only see Him working,
when so much trouble comes our way,
but God is still working in the good days,
to make sure life always stays that way.
But we are an anxious people,
we want everything now for we can’t wait.
We always fail to remember,
God’s always on time and never late.
His timing is not our timing,
His ways are always right.
Please remember to thank Him,
before you go to sleep tonight.

Veterans Day 2010
Young men and women went off to war,
it was the first time they were away.
They loved their country so much,
that is why they could not stay.
Not matter where the battle was,
they knew they had to be there.
They put everything they had on the line,
because for freedom they really did care.
So many others just like them,
fought side by side, yet still alone.
They left it all on the battlefield,
so we could be safe here at home.
So “thank you” to all our Veterans,
and those still fighting so we can be free.
May God protect and bring you back safely,
for back home is where we want you to be.

Forever Wounded
For every soldier that has ever been
fighting for their country to be free,
the price you paid was the very best,
for “Forever Wounded” you will always be.
To give of oneself because it was right
is the ultimate sacrifice you see.
To follow orders going into battle,
knowing the loss of your life there could be.
Thank you, doesn’t seem good enough,
it seems lacking to some degree.
It is hard for me to understand
you were “Forever Wounded” for me.
So I pray this poem can touch the hearts
of every soldier that they may see,
it was written in sincere gratitude,
for being a soldier and what you did for me.

He Has What We Need
We don’t like the hurting,
we don’t like the pain,
there will always be sunshine,
there will always be rain.
We cry out when in trouble,
to the Father above,
but do we take the time
to thank Him for all His love.
We stumble in darkness,
we fail to see the light,
we often forget to say
all our prayers every night.
So what does this all mean?
What can’t we see?
My friends, we are people,
that will always be in need.
So always give thanks,
because He has just what we need.
We don’t have to do it on our own,
if only we just will believe!

Freely He Gives
He gives us so many gifts,
daily as we do live.
The only thing He asks of us
is freely our love to Him we give.
Yes, freely the blessings flow down on us,
even when we do not ask.
Like energy to get through our day,
and to complete our daily tasks.
He gives the gift of family,
and friends to cherish near.
The gift of peace within our hearts
to live each day without fear.
But the greatest gift of all,
when given, broke His heart in two,
He gave His only Son for us,
yes, that’s how much He loves me and you!

What Are You Choosing
Which way are you going today?
Will you make a turn or will you go straight?
Life is filled with questions,
it is all up to us the choice we make.
Will you try to help someone else today,
or will you just look out for yourself?
Will you pursue the purpose God has for you,
or just keep running all in doubt?
Will you stop and look at all the blessings,
into your life you do receive?
Or will you think you did it all yourself,
is this what you truly believe?
Well, whatever you choose it is up to you,
but remember there are consequences at stake.
See, it is not about this life but the next,
and the choices through life we make.
For me, I choose to follow Christ,
to Him my life I did freely give.
He is making the decisions for me,
yep, that’s my choice how to live!

The Many Parts of Faith
Faith has many parts,
all are needed to endure.
See, “All things are possible
if you believe”, that’s for sure.
For the way of faith is not easy,
it takes trials, discipline, courage and more.
For if we walk by faith and not by sight,
that is God’s way to make us soar.
We must keep on believing in His Word.
Don’t be moved away by what you feel or see.
For the victory of faith is in God’s timing,
our part is to stay steady, you and me.
So remember to stay unmoved,
use your discipline of faith to stay so true.
Every petition we put before the Lord,
we should say, “Now Lord, we are waiting on You!”

True Rest
Stop for just a moment
and thank the Lord above,
for He is interested in you,
and blesses you with His love.
He never turns His back on you,
even when you think He did.
He loves you because you are you,
believe me, you are His.
There is no place you can go,
where He is not there too,
He is waiting minute by minute,
for you to choose Him too!
So if things are going wrong,
and your life seems all a mess,
call Him into your heart, my friend,
for that’s where you’ll find true rest!

God’s Love
I was walking along one of life’s smooth paths,
then all of a sudden I did fall.
God grabbed my hand and lifted me up
and said, “I heard you when you called.”
I said, “I didn’t call, it wasn’t me,
I really don’t know who You did hear.”
God said, “Everyone falls now and then,
their hearts always cry out in fear.
Sometimes the heart cries are louder,
than any verbal sound at all.
See, the path doesn’t have to be bumpy,
for you to stumble or fall.
Believe in Me with all your heart,
is what you have to do,
that way any time you fall,
My love will grab onto you!”

How Can This Still Be?
God loves me, oh so much,
in a very special way.
He wants only the best for me,
as He is with me everyday.
He watches over me
every morning, noon and night.
He corrects me when I’m wrong,
always remaining special in His sight.
God directs my feet only in
the paths that pleases Him.
He opens doors to the lost,
then encourages me to enter in.
He speaks to my heart through scripture,
then says, “Tell others of Me.”
I am still amazed many still don’t know Him,
can someone tell me, how can this still be?

The Victory
The enemy is all around us
and Cancer is its name.
It robs our joy, steals our strength
and crushes families along the way.
It doesn’t matter who it attacks,
youth, middle age or the aged.
Its mission is to destroy,
for it knows no other way.
But I know of One who is stronger,
who has overcome each battle, and has won.
So put your life in Jesus hands, my friends,
He’s been winning since time has begun.
Cancer’s days are numbered,
like all our enemies that we face.
In Christ there is always victory,
given to us because of His grace.
The victory is here on earth,
and guaranteed in Heaven above.
The final battle was won on the cross,
Jesus proved it through His love.

Choose Wisely
There is a right way of doing things,
there is also a wrong way too.
Which ever you decide to do,
most times determines what happens to you.
You can decide to live on junk food,
then pay a lot in doctor bills, is what you’ll do.
Or you can choose the food that’s healthy,
see, it is all what you decide to choose.
You can choose to live a sinful life,
but then in hell eternity you will spend.
Or you can choose a life with Christ,
where joy, peace , happiness and love will never end.
There are not a lot of decisions,
that the good Lord will have us make,
It is either right or wrong,
but remember what you choose will determine your fate!

Within An Instant
My heart was broke, I cried to the Lord,
“Please help me Lord, what can I do?”
Within an instant I heard His voice,
“I am here My child, I will mend it for you!”
I was lost and confused, I cried to the Lord,
“Please help me Lord, I really lost my way.”
Within an instant I heard His voice,
“Give Me your hand, I will guide you today!”
I was all alone, I cried to the Lord,
“Please help me Lord, no one seems to care.”
Within an instant I felt His presence,
His love was everywhere.
Within an instant whenever I cried,
the Lord was always there for me.
He wants to be there for you too,
if only you will open your heart to see.

The Master and the Servant
The Master called in His servant
and said, “What will you do for me?”
The servant said in reply,
“Whatever You ask, whatever it can be.”
The Master smiled with His approval,
and reached out His hand in love.
The servant fell to his knees,
and obediently looked at His Master above.
The Master said, “What I have is yours,
please come share all this with Me.”
The servant said, “I don’t understand,
Master, please explain, what could it be?”
The Master said, “I love you,
and have ever since the start!”
The servant said, “I don’t have anything for You
Master, all I have to give is just my heart.”
The Master smiled again, then said,
“That is the greatest gift one can give.
I gave Mine for you a long time ago,
see, it is the only way for us truly to live!”

A Healthy Christian
I am a healthy Christian,
my body is God’s home.
I cannot have it fall apart,
and leave Him all alone.
Our world is full of poison,
that is killing young and old.
It is important we watch what we eat,
so our bodies don’t corrode.
We were given eyes to read labels,
so we can understand what is best.
Stay away from junk food,
and God will do the rest.
See, God gave us an immune system,
to fight what comes our way.
Please decide like I did,
and become a healthy Christian today!

Tell Them For Me
He wants to bless you in a special way,
so He asked me to let you know that today.
He said, “Tell them I have all they need,
all they have to do is trust and believe.”
He said, “Tell them not to worry and fall prey,
to what they see and hear in the world these days.”
Then He said, “Tell them in a way they can hear,
tell them My love and grace is nothing to fear!
Tell them from My Word they must read,
it is important for them to understand and take heed.
Tell them through my poetry and through my songs,
write it and sing it so they understand they belong.
Tell them, tell them, that they must make a choice,
tell them for Me, for you are My voice.
Tell them all, to not listen would be a mistake,
tell them My child before it’s too late.”

The Treasures Of Heaven
The treasures of Heaven are waiting for you,
they are all ready for you to claim.
Each one of us must first believe,
then receive them in Jesus name.
But to me what is most interesting,
as I travel along life’s way,
I need not wait to enter into Heaven,
for I can claim my treasures today.
Heaven’s treasures are for earth too,
like good health, family and friends.
We do not have to wait to receive them,
receive them now not just at your journey’s end.
So thank You, Heavenly Father,
for these treasures you have for me.
I pray all would realize it too,
for in Your Word it states, “if only we believe.”

Be Nice To Someone
Be nice to someone,
as you go about your way.
Remember you don’t know
what is going on in their life today.
You may be happy,
starting the day off with a smile.
They may be having a pain
that’s lasting for a long, long while.
You may be fortunate,
to be lacking for nothing.
They may be praying
that they receive just something.
You may feel healthy,
not a pain is made real.
They may be waiting
to see what a medical test reveals.
You may be blessed,
with family and friends at you side.
They may be looking for a place
to just run away and hide.
Yes, be nice to someone today,
for you don’t know, if your life may change.
See, when you give someone else a smile,
it tells them you understand in exchange.

The Cries To Heaven
There came a loud explosion
to Heaven that the angels did hear.
They ran to the Father,
who told them not to fear.
He said, “These are cries to Me,
from the many voices down below.
They are in need of something,
even those of Me they still don’t know.
They cry because they are hungry,
even though My Word was left to feed.
They cry because they are lonely,
for My love they refuse to receive.
They cry because they are lost,
wandering aimlessly about their day.
They still don’t understand
that My Son, Jesus, is the Way.
So I will still answer their cries,
and listen carefully to their pleas,
but the cries that I am waiting for,
is when they express their love for Me!”

God, Thank You For Today
I opened my eyes
and what did I see,
God’s love,
looking back at me.
I opened my ears,
and what did I hear,
God’s voice,
speaking oh so clear.
I opened my heart
and what did I feel,
God’s Spirit,
inside me so real.
I opened my mouth,
for I just had to say,
“God, I love You,
thank You for today!”

Check It Out
The voice of the world
says you can do it,
when really you can’t.
It tells us,
it is all about us,
when really it’s not.
It also tells us
to grab onto
everything we want.
But really,
it’s about giving,
to those who have not.
See, life’s really simple,
all you do is pick,
and then you must choose.
With One you will win,
with the other,
sorry, you will loose.
So after reading this poem,
if you are still in doubt,
grab your Bible and check it out!

What Can I Do For You?
What do you want me to do today, Lord?
What can I do for You?
Direct my path where You want me to walk.
Open my eyes that I may see You there too.
What do You want me to say today, Lord?
Please give me the Words to speak.
Open my ears to the lost in this world.
May they hear the cries of the weak.
What do You want me to do today, Lord?
How may I serve You today?
Please touch my heart with Your love,
so I can share it in Your special way.
What can I do for You, Lord?
Each day You do everything for me.
How can I serve You better?
Lord, please tell me, what can it be?

What I Want For You
I want you to believe
just like I do,
because in Heaven
I want to be with you.
I want you to share
the love I feel,
that through the Cross,
it became so real.
I want you know
what is so true,
one day this life will end,
but not stop for me and you.
I pray each night,
that before the end,
you will know Jesus,
and like me, be His friend.
It is so important
that you know too,
because of my love,
this is what I want for you!

Nothing Comes Close To God
Nothing comes close to God,
no matter what you find,
remember He is the Creator of all,
the giver of life and time.
Everything you own or have
is provided by God above,
all He asks in return,
is our friendship and our love.
Nothing comes close to God,
we can look but we won’t see,
for anything that our eyes behold,
it all really comes from Thee.
Thank You Heavenly Father,
for Your Spirit and Your Son,
may the choices that we make each day,
prove we are all, living as One!

Vic’s Poem
I have a friend with a broken heart, Lord,
he needs your special touch.
Please talk to his heart today
and tell him he is loved very much.
He wants to know that it will be alright,
as he goes throughout his day.
He needs reassurance, Lord,
he needs your special care today.
Touch him Lord, like never before,
draw him closely to your side.
Let him know it is the enemy tricking him,
to make him feel he should run and hide.
Bless my friend, Lord, for he needs You,
yes, please bless my friend like never before.
Walk with him in this troubled time,
let him know You are in control and Lord!
Please let him know we all care for him,
and it hurts us to see him so blue.
Tell him, Lord, many of us know how he feels,
for we have also been there too!
Everything takes it’s own time,
for time can heal old wounds.
But the only way we can get there, Lord,
is be patient and wait on You!

I Thank Him
I thank Him in the morning,
I thank Him still at night.
I thank Him for the bad things,
so through Him, I can make them right.
I thank Him for the air I breathe,
and for the light so I can see.
I thank Him for the food I eat,
and His love that comforts me.
I thank Him for a place to live,
and the clothes that are on my back.
I thank Him for His friendship,
and knowing through Him, I will never lack.
I thank Him for family and friends,
and also for His Word that I can read.
I thank Him because I love Him,
and I know He really loves me!

The Day After Thanksgiving
The food has been all eaten,
the family and friends have all left.
We gave our thanks for what we had,
we tried and did our best.
But what about today,
what can we do?
Remember to give thanks,
for it’s another day too.
Give thanks for your health,
for the sun or the rain.
Give thanks for the doctors
He will send to take away the pain.
Let this day be a beginning,
giving thanks in all we do.
Remember without Him in our lives,
there would be no One to give thanks to!

At The Feet Of Jesus
At the feet of Jesus
is where I want to be.
Leaving all of my old self
renewed in His victory.
At the feet of Jesus,
I will surrender it all to Him.
I will hold nothing back,
for that is where my new life begins.
At the feet of Jesus,
I come in awe and song.
I bow before my loving God,
yes, this is where I truly belong.
At the feet of Jesus,
thank You Father, for Your Son.
It’s sweet to sing His praises,
as each day on earth moves along.

A Hug
A hug is a special gift
sent from God above.
He touches some ones heart and says,
“Hug that person with my love.”
He uses different people,
to accomplish this task for Him.
It could be a family member,
or a lot of times, just a friend.
But what the hug symbolizes
is Him reaching down from above.
He tells the one doing the hugging,
squeeze them for me with all you got.
The hug means you are special,
and may help to make your day.
To God it means I love you,
in a very, very special way!
So if someone wants to hug you,
for they think you may need a lift,
remember it is God doing the hugging,
please accept this, it’s His special gift.

It’s Me Again
Good morning Lord, it’s me again,
I just wanted You to know.
I thank You for another day
and to tell You I love you so.
I wanted to tell You that
some snow fell last night.
But since You are the One who sent it,
I know everything will be all right.
Thank You for the warmth,
that I feel in my home.
I pray that all the others feel it too,
and understand, with You they are not alone.
Well, it’s time for me to get moving,
Lord, for I know You have work for me.
Use me to be a blessing today, Lord,
reaching out to all that my eyes will see.

I Need To Talk Lord
I need to talk, Lord,
for I have a lot on my mind.
I am worried for some friends,
battling sicknesses of various kinds.
I also have friends
that are living all alone.
Many have also lost a lot of things,
like family, jobs and homes.
Please help me understand, Lord,
why all this has to be.
See Lord, when my family and friends hurt,
it is just like it is happening to me.
Tell me Lord, what can I do,
to help them through these days?
Direct me to Your Word, Lord,
so I can share with them what it says.
Thank You again, Lord,
for listening to me once again.
I am so blessed You always take the time,
and blessed because You are my Friend!

My Heart’s Now In Heaven
My heart is now in Heaven,
for I gave it to the Lord.
He asked me for it many times,
through His love and His Word.
At first I was reluctant,
for I thought it belonged to only me,
but God said, ”I created it,
that’s the only way it can be free!”
So now I can truly understand,
all the loneliness that I had,
the emptiness is now filled
with His love that makes me glad.
He is in control now,
with Him I shall never lack.
My heart is now in Heaven,
all I had to do was give it back!

How Well Do You Know Me?
How well do you know Me?
Do you trust in what I say?
Are you willing to live as I command?
Is your life dedicated to Me today?
How well do you know Me?
Do you read daily from My Word?
Do you obey what I ask of you?
Are you listening from Me to be heard?
How well do you know Me?
Do you love and also forgive?
Do you reach out to the lost for Me?
Do you tell them there is a better way to live?
Well, I know you very well.
Yes, I knew you from the start.
I made you what you are for Me,
and I am yearning for your heart.
I know you better than anyone else,
and I am waiting for you to finally see,
one day you will look above and say,
“Yes Lord, I really want to know Thee!”

Where Is Jesus
Christmas time is drawing near,
but where is Jesus?
Christmas decorations are everywhere,
but where is Jesus?
Stores are packed with shoppers there,
but where is Jesus?
Christmas songs are in the air,
but where is Jesus?
but where is Jesus?
Christmas songs are in the air,
but where is Jesus?
Children waiting for Santa to come,
but where is Jesus?
Christmas songs all being sung,
but where is Jesus?
but where is Jesus?
Christmas songs all being sung,
but where is Jesus?
Look for Him where the hurting are,
yes, there is Jesus.
Look for Him under the brightest star,
yes, there is Jesus.
Look for Him when all is lost,
yes, there is Jesus.
Look for Him as you carry your cross,
yes, there is Jesus.
yes, there is Jesus.
Look for Him as you carry your cross,
yes, there is Jesus.
Look for Him with a heart of love,
and you’ll find Jesus.
Look , look and don’t give up,
until you find Jesus!
and you’ll find Jesus.
Look , look and don’t give up,
until you find Jesus!

They Came One Day
They came one day
and took Him to that hill,
and as He walked to the Cross,
every eye was on Him still.
Why did He let them do it?
He could have stopped it at anytime.
But His love was greater than anything,
He knew it would withstand the test of time.
It was stronger than all the beatings,
stronger than the humiliation and the shame.
They came one day over 2000 years ago
for my Savior, and Jesus is His name.
So as Christmas draws near again,
remember it started in Bethlehem.
Yes, they came one day and took Him away,
but Praise God!, He will be coming again!!!

God’s Turning Up The Heat
God is turning up the heat
that is building up in me,
He is building a bonfire in my heart
that is reaching out for all to see.
It starts as a kindling,
then His love just grows and grows.
I cannot contain it within myself,
for it is about Him for all to know.
The warmth from His heat is genuine,
His love is so sincere,
His fire speaks to all that will listen,
“I am your God, I Am here!”
So don’t worry if you just feel a spark,
just make sure it does not leave.
My fire for Him is raging on,
for God ‘s turning up the heat in me!

Come To My Ark
“Come to My Ark”,
the Lord said to me.
Don’t be confused,
if no rain clouds you see.
Don’t let this world
or others distract your way.
Come to My Ark,
come quickly, come today.
Let My Ark be your shelter,
to keep you free from all harm.
When the cold rains start flowing,
it will keep you safe and warm.
Tell all others,
like Noah said in the past,
there is the time coming,
this world can not last.
Come to My Ark,
for waiting I will be.
Come, My children, come,
Come quickly to Me!

For Dave, A Friend Of Mine
The cycle of life is confusing,
but not to God, because it’s His plan.
He chooses the first and last breath we take,
for each one of us has our own life’s span.
For my friend Dave it was shorter,
lesser than others that I have known.
See, it’s not about this time on earth,
but when we reach our heavenly home.
So I can now see Dave singing,
in the awesome heavenly choir above.
Jesus is nodding His approval,
for each note Dave sings, is about love.
Praise You Lord for Dave’s time on earth.
Be with his family and friends at this time.
For me what I will always cherish the most,
is to be able to say, Dave was a friend of mine.

Wit’s End
When you are at your wits end,
you will find that God lives there.
He is always waiting for our problems,
to show us how much He cares.
He is with us through the good times,
but the bad ones is where He shines.
He’s waiting for our cries of help,
He is listening all the time.
So when you are at your wits end,
and you don’t know what to do,
remember that is where you’ll find God,
for He is waiting to hear from you.
He will take your hardest problem,
and make it turn out right.
He is always working at wit’s end,
every morning, noon and night!

The Mirror Of My Soul
Did you ever wonder what your soul looks like?
Does it have a face just like you and me?
Since it is the most important part of us,
why is that with our eyes it can not be seen?
Our exterior is just temporary,
in time it will definitely fade away.
But the soul, oh, the precious soul
is with us forever, that will never decay.
I do believe we can see it,
when ever we are willing to try.
Just take a look in the mirror,
and don’t let your eyes fool you or lie.
The mirror of my soul is visible,
for all the others to see.
With mine I pray you see Jesus,
for that’s what I truly want it to be.
So when you look at the mirror of your soul,
if you do not like what you see,
ask Jesus to change it for you,
for my friends, that’s what He did for me!

Holiday Times
Holiday times are here again,
love, laughter and songs everywhere.
But please keep in your thoughts and prayers,
those that struggle with despair.
They have a hard time laughing,
for their heart aches with such great pain.
The love they once had is no longer here,
see, the holidays will never be the same.
Lord, please touch their hearts this time of year,
and give them Your special peace and care.
Let them know that though these times are tough,
You are always with them and Your love is there to share.
Let them know at this time of year,
the season is always about You.
For You are the reason for the season, Lord,
not just at this time, but every year through!

What Would Jesus Do?
WWJD is a question,
that has been said many times.
When you ask yourself this question,
your life will stay in line.
In line with creation,
the way life was meant to be,
Keep asking WWJD,
and believe me you will see.
WWJD is a daily guide,
to guide you on your way,
for there isn’t a better role model,
than Jesus, to follow day by day.
What would Jesus do?
Just grab your Bible and read.
He answers all the questions for us,
all we have to do is believe!

God Know Best
God knows best, not you nor I,
to get us through the day.
His ways are right, for sure not ours,
so with Him we must always stay.
He knows our every wanting,
before we even think we do.
He knows us better than ourselves,
for He is God, and that is true.
God knows best, each of life’s tests,
that through them stronger we will be.
Yes, God knows best, more than all the rest,
because of His love for you and me.
We should listen to what He tells us,
and obey what He tells us to do.
For God knows best for each of us,
not just for now, but for each day through.

What Will You Be Doing This Christmas?
What will you be doing this Christmas?
Will you take time to stop and think
about the many homeless and lost,
that are sleeping in the streets?
What about all those that are hurting,
because no one seems to care.
What will you be doing this Christmas,
will you give of your time to share?
What will you be doing this Christmas?
Will you help someone in need?
Just think about the many, many people,
that this Christmas they may never see.
What will you be doing this Christmas?
The choice is yours, that is true.
See, Jesus is the reason for the season,
Christmas is about Him, sorry, not about me, or you!
Yes, He cares for the homeless, lost and hurting,
and the many, many people in need.
That’s why He came as a baby on Christmas,
He came for them, and you and me!
What will you be doing this Christmas?

The Hurting, the Lost, and the Cross
There are many people that are hurting,
and many that are lost and don’t know the Way.
My prayer is that as they read this poem,
it may lead them to Jesus today.
When we celebrate Christmas,
it is a special time of year.
We sing praises to the Christ Child,
who was born into this world of fear.
No one had a room for Him,
many just turned them away.
Would it have made a difference knowing,
on the Cross He would die for us one day?
Just stop for a moment and think of this,
what if it all happened just today?
Would you have let the Christ Child in?
Would you have room for Him today?
Nothing really has changed,
in the 2000 plus years.
See, we still are all hurting and lost,
living in this world of fear.
We can’t have the baby,
without having the Cross,
and we wouldn’t have had either one,
if not for the hurting and the lost!

My Daily Rest
As I walk in this world of sin,
I hear the Lord say to me,
“Come, rest My child, from your weary day.
In Me, you will have all the rest you need.”
When I am weak from my daily trials,
and it appears that there is no end,
I hear the Lord say to me,
“Stop and rest in Me, for I Am your greatest Friend.”
When others try to wear me out,
with things that should not be,
I hear the Lord say again,
“Come rest in Me, come rest in Me!”
I know I cannot continue on,
even when I do my best.
I must always take heed of what He says,
for He is my daily rest!

The Glow Of Grace
The glow of Grace
can far be seen,
from many a heart,
that has just been cleaned.
It’s glow is permanent,
it can not be removed.
It’s God stamp on each of us,
that means He does approve.
Each heart He has cleaned
has the glow of Grace,
it shines so brightly
on each children’s face.
It’s glow stays there,
for all to see,
The message it sends is,
“Christ lives in me!”

Whatever Door God Opens
Whatever door God opens,
I am going through,
for He knows what’s best for me,
all I have to do, is for Him be true.
He opens doors that are for Him,
it is His will I must do,
Yes, whatever door He opens,
I am going through.
I may not know what’s on the other side,
but He does, that is for sure.
My job is to be obedient and loyal,
for with Him I have no fear.
There may be doors that He will close,
that will be alright too.
What is most important is not the door,
but that God, I am listening to You!

The Best Present
The best present that
you will ever receive,
is not from a birthday
or found under a tree.
It is not wrapped with
fancy paper or cute little bows,
or found at the mall,
where everyone goes.
It is worth more than anything,
that someone gives to you.
It is truly a special gift
that keeps giving, very true.
The gift is Jesus,
and is for all to receive,
there is no gift to compare,
all you have to do is believe.
Accept your gift
that is yours from the start.
All you have to do
is ask Him into your heart.

Easy As One, Two, Three
Easy as one, two, three,
is how Christ changed my life, you see.
One was admitting,
I was a sinner and lost.
Two was asking for forgiveness,
that was accomplished at the Cross.
Three was asking Jesus,
My Lord and Savior please be.
If you haven’t, try it my friends,
it easy as one, two, three.

Having A Bad Day
So you are having a bad day,
you shouldn’t feel alone.
So many others are having one too,
in this temporary world we call home.
It is not about the struggle,
or even the pain you are going through.
It is what you can learn and do through it,
and knowing God is there for you.
It is not about the “Why me, Lord?”
Think of the Apostle Paul if you do.
See, He understood and walked closely with God,
no matter what he was going through.
In this life we are going to have problems,
that translates to many bad days.
Grasp on tightly to the good ones,
and because of them, give God all the praise!

This Side Of Heaven
I woke up this morning
on this side of Heaven,
I said, “Good morning, Lord,
thank You for this day I was given!”
Then I said, “I love You, Lord,
what can I do for You?
Please guide me to the lost,
so I can share You with them too!”
On this side of Heaven,
there is so much to do.
Day by day helping others,
in whatever they need to get through.
See, on this side of Heaven,
there will always be need.
It is our job, as Children of God,
to show Christ in whatever it be.
One day will surely come,
when our work will finally be done,
and we will leave this side of Heaven,
to be with the Father and His glorious Son!

I Am In Christ’s Army
I am a private
in the army of God.
What I do is follow His asking,
wherever my feet may trod.
I battle all sin,
whatever it might be.
I fight for those in bondage,
who desperately long to be free.
I fight because I love Him,
and I know His ways are right.
I am a private,
my job is to love, not give up the fight.
I am in Christ’s army,
for that is where I want to be.
Please put on your armor of God,
and daily come and fight with me!

I Am A Man/Woman Of God
I am a man/woman of God,
I follow what He says,
I don’t worry about tomorrow,
for He knows what lies ahead.
My life is all His now,
all I must do is obey.
I don’t have to worry,
for God has my back each day.
I am a man/woman of God,
created by His own hands.
He has a purpose for my life,
as He has for every woman and man.
So if you want to be one too,
it doesn’t take a great task;
All you have to do is ask Him,
See, He is waiting for you to ask!

A Christmas Without You
Christmas day is coming,
but my heart will be so blue.
For how can I celebrate Christmas,
it will be a Christmas with you.
Memories come to mind again,
of the Christmases from the past.
Happy times because you were there,
yet we knew they would never last.
So as this Christmas comes and goes,
I will celebrate from the past.
Each loving memory that comes to mind,
within my heart I will truly grasp.
Thank You Heavenly Father above,
for the Christmas memories that get me through,
without them and You in my life,
I don’t know what I would do!

Jesus Winked
I was at a nursing home today,
where I go to give God’s love.
Many, many people living there,
all in desperate need of His special touch.
So after I sang my heart out,
and because of Him all were blessed,
I started to visit one by one,
saying God loves them and to all the rest.
Then I came to a gentleman,
his body could not move.
It appeared as though he was stuck,
or to the bed chair he was glued.
I touched him on the shoulder
and then he winked which made me think,
I told him he just made my day,
my friends, I think I just saw Jesus wink!

He Chose Us
The Father was talking with His Son,
“Which one are you going to choose?”,
“All of them”, Jesus said.
The Father replied, “With some you might lose?”
“Yes, I know, Father”, Jesus said,
“but they must decide what to do.
As My love is freely given, must also be freely received,
just like Your love for Me and Mine for You!”
Then the Father said to His Son,
“There will be hurt and there will be pain.”
Jesus answered, “Yes, Father I know,
but because of My love for them, it is all for their gain.”
So, my friends, please choose wisely,
take some time and consider the loss.
I don’t know about you, my friends
but I am glad He chose us!

There Lies Life’s Key
I read from a friend,
“He must become greater,
I must become less!”
My friends, there lies life’s key.
See, it is hard for us to understand,
but it is not about you or me.
We all have choices to make,
either they will be good
or they will be very bad,
consequences there surely will be.
If you choose to live His life,
ah, my friends, there lies life’s key.
See, ever since He said,
“Let there be light”,
it was for Him and Him alone,
light for only Him to see.
But then as He created everything else,
He wanted to share it with you and me.
So get your eyes off yourself,
and look to others so you might help,
as you give praise to the Lord above.
I pray that you can understand like me.
See, everything we do must be for Him,
for there lies life’s key.

Why Not I
Today I saw a homeless person,
life was passing him by.
I raised my head above and asked,
“Lord, why not I?”
Then I saw a single mom,
discouraged and cast aside.
Again I raised my head above and asked,
“Lord, why not I?”
Next a saw an addict,
losing everything for his need.
I looked away and thought,
thank God that isn’t me.
But then I heard God’s voice,
as He did speak to me,
“Life is but a choice,
what you chose, so it will be.
So far you have chose wisely,
My grace has fell on you.
See, it is there for everyone,
what it depends on, is what they choose.”

Waiting For Us All
There was a knock on my heart,
I said, “Lord is it you?”
He said, “Yes my child,
I will be coming for you.”
I said, “When, Lord, when?
When will it be?”
The Lord said, “I will let you know,
after My Father tells Me.
Be not in this world,
for many from it still don’t see,
everything created by My Father,
belongs just to Me.
So keep watch My child,
and stay strong in My Word.
Be obedient to Me,
and with a strong voice be heard.
Tell them, tell them,
with the gifts you were given,
I’m coming back my child,
waiting for all believers, is wonderful Heaven!”

Reach Out For Me
Look out through your eyes,
for those hurting or in need,
reach out, reach out,
and touch their lives for Me.
Though you may be blessed,
and have more than you need,
reach out, reach out,
and give to them for Me.
You may be happy,
and content as can be,
but look for the sad in despair,
reach out and love them for Me.
Because you are blessed,
and know what it is to be free,
think of those in bondage,
reach out and lead them to Me.
Don’t think of yourself,
but of others you see,
oh, please children of Mine,
reach out, reach out for Me!

Stand Firm Till The End
Stand firm till the end,
never giving in.
Stay strong in the fight,
knowing you are right.
Never back down,
when the enemy is around,
stand firm till the end,
that’s victory, my friends.
Choose wisely your way,
as you live day by day,
with God at your side,
you won’t have to hide.
Stand firm till the end,
with Christ your best friend.
You are never alone,
He’ll guide you safely home!

My Christmas Song 2010
Christmas, Christmas,
a special time of year.
Family and friends, gathered near.
Christmas, Christmas,
a time to give and share.
Christmas, Christmas, is here.
Christmas, Christmas,
A joyous time of year,
Christmas, Christmas, is here.
Christmas, Christmas,
O, Lord I pray,
that we could have Christmas, every day!

Life Is A Decision
Life is a decision,
each day you choose what to do.
Do you stay still,
or some door do you go through?
Do you give from what you have,
or being selfish, from others do you take?
Life is a decision,
right or wrong it is yours to make.
You can choose on your own,
or like me, look to Christ above.
For I know no one better to guide me
than Jesus, through His love.
So today is just another day,
there are consequences what you choose.
Life is a decision my friends,
either you win, or you lose!

The Pit
I found myself falling,
deep into a pit.
The more I tried to climb out,
the farther down I would get.
Nothing to grab onto,
the light began to fade.
What would I do,
who could help me here today?
I just felt so helpless,
what is this going to bring?
The pit of despair
is not a wonderful thing.
Help me, help me,
I cried out in vain.
Then all of a sudden,
I remembered His wonderful name.
Jesus said, “Whatever you ask
in My Name, I will give to you.”
I cried, “Jesus, please save me now,
I am lost and don’t know what to do!”
Then within an instant,
I felt His hand of grace.
He pulled me from the pit
to a wonderful safe place.
So as you read this poem,
and in a pit you might be,
cry out the name of Jesus,
my friends, it worked for me.
John 14:14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

What If They Came To Your House
What if they came to your house?
Would you invite them in?
All they want is to be warm,
and a place to lay their heads.
What if they came to your house,
people you don’t even know.
Would you smile and say, “Come in”,
or would you say, “You have to go?”
Well, it happened many years ago,
in a town called Bethlehem.
Time and time they asked for a place,
but no one would let them in.
So they ended up by a manger,
with animals all around.
No humans there to send them away,
only love there could be found.
But what if it happened today?
What would you say or do?
What if they came to your house,
would Christ be welcomed in by you?

Just A Bump In The Road
So many times on this road called “life”,
we find the road is not very smooth.
There are just a few bumps in the road,
to try and make us move.
A smooth road is a happy road,
with no troubles along the way.
But what we find is, Jesus said it best,
“You will have trials and tribulations some days!”
These trials could be because of your health,
or maybe because of a lost relationship today.
But for sure it is just a bump in the road,
as you travel on life’s road each day.
But what is most important
when you hit a bump like this,
remember Jesus hit it with you,
because if you let Him, you are His!
He will direct you in the path that is right,
and smooth out the road along your way.
See, no matter what bump you hit,
He will get you over it today!

A Broken Heart
A broken heart cannot be healed,
by either you or me.
It must be healed by our Creator,
for He first put it together, you see.
He knows every little part,
that in this life might break.
He knows the pain that goes with it,
for His own heart once did break.
I asked Him, “What can I do,
to mend my heart that did break?”
He said, “Nothing My child,
I will do it for you, definitely time it will take.”
So each day that passes,
I know my heart will heal,
and what is truly amazing about it,
is how close to Jesus each day I do feel!

Reach Out As Far As You Can
Reach out, reach out,
as far as you can,
there will always be someone
who needs a touch from your hand.
Reach out, reach out,
as far as you can see,
there will always be someone needing help,
you may never know, it could be me.
Reach in, reach in,
and from your heart do take,
some of the love Christ gives to you,
and pass it on to others, for their sake.
Reach, reach to others,
is what we must do,
for you never know when
you will want someone to reach for you!

The Flame of Love
Christ’s love starts as a little flame,
then grows into a raging fire.
His love can find you anywhere,
no matter where you were or where you are.
His love is the warmth needed
to cure a cold, callous heart.
He forgives what we’ve done in the past,
and freely gives us a fresh new start.
Once His flame is in you,
you will never be the same.
To get the flame of love started,
just call out in Jesus name.
Then His Spirit lives within you,
the fuel needed for the fire to rage.
Grab onto His flame of love, my friends,
once you do, you’ll never be the same!

Let’s Get Serious
It’s time to get serious,
yes, serious for Christ.
Time is getting close,
we must make this life right.
Let’s stop making excuses,
and blaming everyone else.
It is time to get serious,
speak up for what Christ is all about!
Let’s get serious,
for what He did for all,
this Christmas let us remember,
the Babe in Bethlehem’s stall.
Yes, it’s time to get serious,
He is waiting for you too,
this could be your last chance
before this life is through!

Walking Together For Jesus!
Walking together for Jesus,
as Christians is what we do.
Do not let any worldly circumstances
distract His walk with you.
With our eyes may we be looking
for wherever there is a need.
May we also be prepared
in others to plant His seed.
Walking together for Jesus,
Staying strong in His Word,
always being ready to share it with
the many that haven’t heard.
Oh what a path of glory,
that as Christians, by grace we walk.
Oh what a Gospel message,
from His heart He gave us to talk.
Walk with me, Brother’s and Sister’s,
united in One accord,
walking together for Jesus,
our Savior and our Lord!

Picture Him!
I do not change my Facebook picture,
for there is only One I want you all to see.
It is Christ’s heart and His cross,
that was given for you and me.
God’s love is in the open
for that’s how it should be.
The invitation to be with Him,
together through all eternity.
But we do not have to wait,
until from this life we will pass,
Heaven is here for us today,
all we must do is ask.
Heaven is in His peace
and grace that flows from above.
Yes, praise God for the cross
and His heart that over flows with love!

A Christmas Lesson
“Pardon me sir”,
the little boy said,
“Where is the baby Jesus,
where is he laying his head?
I have come to play
my drum for Him.
That is all I have
and can give!
Please tell me, sir,
where can He be.
I have traveled a long way,
for the baby Jesus I want to see.”
Then the man said
to the little boy,
“Go to the manger,
there you’ll find the bundle of joy.”
As the boy approached,
the baby Jesus was laying there.
He began to play his heart out,
and love filled the air.
A lesson we can all learn,
as Christmas draws near,
it is all about the Christ child,
His love for us, year after year.

May This Be A Different Christmas
May this be a different Christmas
than all the others in the past.
May everyone truly understand
His love was made to last.
From a manger it was started,
to the cross it did lead,
on a hill named Calvary,
where our Savior died, for you and me.
May this be a different Christmas,
where we all will understand,
from the tomb our Savior was risen,
taken by the Father’s loving hands.
So don’t worry about the presents,
or the family and friends that you will see,
Christmas is not about that,
it’s all about God, and His love for you and me.
So please go to church today,
for He will definitely be there.
Ask Him to help you understand
what Christmas is about this year.
In Bethlehem it started with Jesus,
today may He begin in you.
May this be a different Christmas,
open your heart and believe, is all you must do!

Another Christmas

Another Christmas
Another Christmas,
what will I do?
My empty heart
is still looking for You.
Christmas trees
and Christmas lights,
still don’t give me
any peace this night.
People smiling,
spreading good cheer.
But my empty heart
is still searching each year.
Where is the peace,
where is the joy?
My friends, the answer,
is found in Mary’s Baby Boy.
As your heart cries out,
where have You been?
Jesus is saying, “Right here,
waiting for you to ask Me in!”

Did Anyone See Jesus?
“Where is Jesus?”
asked the homeless man on the street.
“Yes, where is He?” the addict echoed,
“Can someone send Him to me?”
“Where is He?”,
said a woman, raising her kids alone.
“If He is the God of love,
then why hasn’t He come?”
“Where is Jesus?”
asked a man from a prison cell.
“We all need Him now,
can anyone to us please tell?”
“Has anyone seen Jesus?”,
asked a business man in a suit.
“My business is going under
and I don’t know what to do.”
Then they all heard a child
singing, “Jesus loves me this I know.”
Everyone looking for Jesus asked,
“Did you see Jesus, tell us where did He go?”
The child just smiled,
and then touched his heart.
“There is Jesus”, he said,
“He’s been right there from the start!”
So the moral of this poem,
wherever you are, or whatever you need,
the Answer has always been there,
from God’s heart, to mine, to yours indeed!

Christmas Day 2010
It’s Christmas day once again,
through the birth of Christ our life begins!
A day that to many will always be,
a day of love for you and me.
Christmas day with it always brings
a new beginning of many things.
A stronger faith and love for Him,
yes, this is what Christmas day will bring.
So give Him your problems and daily strife,
and start a journey that can change your life.
Let the past be the past and Christmas the start,
once to Him you freely give your heart.
So don’t wait any longer if you are in doubt,
pick up a Bible and check it out!
Oh what a blessing Christmas day can be,
if you will open your heart and finally see.

The Day After Christmas
It’s the day after Christmas,
our journey now truly begins.
Just as it did for Jesus,
many years ago in Bethlehem.
For once Christ touches your heart,
and you truly let Him in,
a journey of love, caring and sharing
with Him, will then begin.
See it is not about all the glitter,
or what we see on our TV’s.
It is about our Father God,
and His Son’s love for you and me.
So I pray on this day after Christmas,
your heart will be filled with peace and joy.
May each step you take on your journey,
bring you closer to Mary’s baby boy!

Another Year
Another year
is almost gone,
more good and bad things,
said and done.
Another year
lies just ahead,
we must be careful
what is done and said.
For once a word
does leave our lips,
it cannot be taken back
from whom it grips.
Another year,
for Christ I yearn.
More time if given,
to live and learn.
Another year
to plant His seed,
for that’s what life is,
oh, I pray you see!

Walk This Way
Walk this way,
I heard Him say,
as I woke up
from sleep today.
Come with Me,
along this way,
I need you with Me
throughout the day.
Grab My hand,
and don’t let go,
walk this way,
for I love you so.
Come with Me,
so we can find,
the hurting, the lost,
of every kind.
So are you ready,
to be with Me today?
Deny yourself,
come, walk this way!

May I Be
Like the Apostle Paul,
may I be.
Father, living each day,
just for Thee!
If in my life,
thorns there may be,
Father, may I not think of them,
but only of Thee.
Like Abraham,
may I be.
Obedient and loyal,
Father, just to Thee.
If in my life,
whatever the sacrifice might be,
let me give,
because of Thee.
Like Jesus,
may I be,
a servant to others,
and loving Thee.
Father above,
please hear my plea,
whatever Your will,
may I be!

A Knock On My Hearts Door
I heard a knock
on my hearts door,
when I opened it
I saw the Lord.
He smiled at me
and then He said,
“This is the door
for you to enter in.
Do not be afraid
of what you’ll find,
just walk right through,
don’t look behind.
What ever you need,
to complete your task,
I will supply for you,
just be obedient and ask.
Once you are done,
I will knock some more,
it’s important you listen
when I knock, on your hearts door!”

He Lovingly Kissed My Soul
The Lord grabbed onto my heart,
He caressed it and made it whole.
Then He did what no other could do,
He lovingly kissed my soul!
I felt a flame ignite within me,
a heat from love that I had to share.
He kissed my soul in such a way,
I knew just how much He cared.
Not only did He die for me,
alone on a wooden cross,
but He never gave up loving me,
He found me when I was lost.
I am a changed person now,
no longer broken, but now whole.
See, Jesus made my life complete,
as He lovingly kissed my soul!

Father In Heaven
Father in Heaven, God Above,
continue to bless us
with Your love.
Father in Heaven, Keeper of Souls,
cleanse us, purify us,
and make us whole.
Father in Heaven, Giver of Grace,
walk with us,
from place to place.
Father in Heaven, Creator of Life,
open our eyes,
so we know what’s right.
Father in Heaven, Author of Love,
our lives are in Your hands,
till we are all united as One!

Rescue Me
Rescue me!
I cried above,
please send my broken heart,
someone to love.
The more I hurt,
the more I grieve,
Lord up above,
please rescue me!
Then within His moment
He said, “It’s done.
For when you hurt,
I hurt too, My special one!
So here is Rescue,
from Me to you,
her mission is,
to get you through.
She’ll ease the pain,
and brighten your heart.
Just love her like I loved you,
I always have right from the start!
So anytime your heart is broken,
and no happiness you see,
just look up above and say,
Lord, please rescue me!”
